The People’s Tent of Tomorrow is coming to Jackson Heights!

Saturday, May 28th
Rain date: Sunday, May 29th
12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
78th Street Plaza

Organized by Hibridos Collective, The People’s Tent of Tomorrow is a pop-up tent paying tribute to the New York State Pavilion. We invite locals and passersby to share their ideas for the future of this historic landmark as part of the New York State Pavilion Ideas Competition.

By entering the People’s Tent of Tomorrow, participants will learn about the significance of the Pavilion through educational and historical materials. Last month, Queens Library at Flushing hosted the People’s Tent of Tomorrow where over 400 people learned and reimagined the New York State Pavilion.

This month, join Hibridos Collective and our guest art educators Deborah Wasserman and Leontine Greenberg to draw, sketch, doodle, or design your visions for the Pavilion and submit your ideas on-site.
